Premierships

The East Coast Eagles were formed in the year 2000 and achieved their first senior premiership in 2009, which not coincidentally, was the Club’s first season at Bruce Purser Reserve (now Kanebridge Oval). The Eagles then went on to complete an historic ‘Three-Peat” by also taking out the 2010 and 2011 premierships.

After competing in the NEAFL during 2012, 2013 and 2014, the Eagles returned to the AFL Sydney competition in 2015.

The 2016 Premiership went the way of the Eagles with an inspirational and courageous victory over St George.

History was made in 2019 as East Coast won a flag in the Women’s Division Two Grade defeating minor premiers Macquarie University, our first women’s Premiership since introducing the women’s football program in 2017.

The Eagals then went on to win back-to-back premierships in Women’s Premier Division in the years 2022 & 2023.
