When Jared Madden slips into the Sydney Hills Eagles strip this weekend, it will be for his 350th Club Game (encompassing all games for the Eagles and Baulkham Hills AFC up to and including 2008).
In what is a major achievement, Madden is able to look back with fond memories on his time at the club. This includes early memories like his five years in the Under 9’s, learning the Gary Ablett drop punt from his Geelong-mad coach, winning under 16 titles and reserve grade flags.
One of his proudest moments came in the last generic viagra australia round of 2012 against Wests, when all the Madden brothers took the field together for the first time.
And when quizzed on the best player he ever played with, Jared offered, ‘tough call. Felipe Hill, as he was a ball magnet, Luke McLeod because he was a tough captain and Rowan Bilkey because he was so consistent. Honourable mentions to Brad Ure, Scott Abercrombie, Matt Nichol, Craig Magnason, Jason Duss, Peter Bleus and Matt Williams’.
On behalf of everyone at the Eagles, congratulations Jared on an outstanding achievement.
